Rasna unveils largest glass in the world

The soft drink concentrate king — Rasna, unveiled the largest glass of the world at the inauguration of Rasna Mega Carnival in Delhi recently. With 10 feet high and 6 feet wide glass Rasna is hoping to enter in the Guinness Book of World Records and also the Limca Book of World Record. The glass made of fibre will be holding the liquid in 7”X6” vessel with a volume to hold 2300 litres of liquid, volume sufficient to serve around 10,000 glasses.

It was a four day mega carnival organised at DLF mall, Saket. At the carnival it was not only the Glass that attracted public but also because it was a ‘never before’ experience for the kids. Lot of competitions and games were organise at the carnival for kids. The carnival also lured the kids with magic shows, tattoo corner, Rasna refreshments et al.

Enthusiastic about mega carnival on the launch day of the glass, Piruz Khambatta, chairman and managing director, Rasna Private Limited said, “It gives me immense pleasure launching the world’s largest glass and we hope to enter in Limca Book of World Records. I am very happy to see the excitement in the people here and through out the four days mega carnival is going to be jam packed with fun, excitement and lots of surprises for our valued customers and shoppers around here. By this we will be able to get closer to our consumers and be a part of their life.”

Rasna currently holds 93 percent of the market share in soft drinks concentrates market. It also plans to strengthen the retail footprint by adding retail outlets pan India by the end this summer.
