Tirupati launches two special inks for food packaging

Tirupati Inks Ltd, one of the leading ink manufacturing companies in India, has launched two new inks specially designed for food packaging applications. The company claims that the new inks provide same qualities and properties as the solvent base inks offer.

"EcoImpex" and "EcoAquva" are aftermarket inks that join the company's Streamline product line. Both are said to be high quality solvent and water based inks for gravure and flexo printers. The company said in its statement that "we have an unrivalled line of products to meet the needs of the gravure and flexo printing industry. We are continually pushing the limits of efficiency and striving to adopt the best operational practices to create value and remain competitive in the market."

The company further stated that the inks have technical and performance properties that match the solvent base flexible packaging inks. Those are claimed to include top quality gloss properties, low energy consumption when drying, excellent adhesion and chemical resistance while odour is kept to a minimum which is suitable for food packaging.
