Sanjiv Mendiratta appointed Group Advisor, ABCTCL-Food and Beverages

Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company Limited (ABCTCL) has appointed Sanjiv Mediratta, as Group Advisor – Food and Beverages.

Sanjiv’s role would entail strategizing and overseeing the food and beverage operations for ABCTCL’s popular café brand Café Coffee Day (1200 plus outlets), Coffee Day Xpress (kiosks business of about 1500 outlets) and Coffee Day Hotels and Resorts (the Serai at Chikmaglur and resorts in Bandipur and Kabini in Karnataka). The key responsibilities of his job entail deployment of technology that would ensure quality and consistency in offerings, product development, pricing and streamlining the entire supply chain system so as for the brands to be able to fast spread their network and retain and enhance brand image.

In Sanjiv’s long and fulfilling career he has been associated with companies such as Moods Hospitality (Brand owner of Yo! China /Yo! Dimsum), Yum Restaurants International (Brand Owners of Pizza Hut /KFC/Taco Bell), McDonald’s India (the first employee of the same organization) to name a few.

ABCTCL is the parent for popular coffee café chain called Café Coffee Day. ABCTCL grows coffee in its own estates of 10,000 acres and is the largest producer of Arabica beans in Asia.
