The Banyan Tree opens at Gallery BMB

The Banyan Tree Bakery and Café, a unit of Mint Hospitality group, has opened at Gallery BMB, Mumbai. Spread over an area size of 850 sq ft, the Banyan Tree’s entrance is marked with an artistic painting, a blend of black, white and oak yellow. The branches of the tree in the piece of art are crafted beautifully, which depict a women dancing and a man admiring to keep the feel of an art gallery alive. The white walls and spaces are striking, beautifully lit from above with black timber furniture and laid back chairs.

The restaurant has an eclectic atmosphere and diversified menu, which includes variety of hot and cold crunches (Rs 150 – Rs 220), soups and salads (Rs 110 – Rs 170), sandwiches and burger (Rs 165 – Rs 230), pastas and pizzas (Rs 225 – Rs 250). The bakery menu at Banyan Tree offers grills and bakes (Rs 240-320), cheesecakes (Rs 120 – Rs 140), cakes and totties (Rs 100 – Rs 120), coolers, shakes and smoothies (Rs 100 – Rs 120). The menu also includes teas, infusions and coffees priced between Rs 80 to Rs 250.

Gaurav Sethi, director and CEO Mint Hospitality said, “The Banyan Tree is a space for like-minded people to meet in a relaxed setting, or unwind after work, else hold a meeting at any hour of the day. Keeping in mind the increasing number of people moving into the city to pursue a career and living by themselves, we offer them healthy breakfasts, lunch, supper and an all new menu for dinner.”
