Marc Eyres was born in South Africa and has spent most of his career with Unilever. He has had various assignments and roles across the group and in other markets such as Australia. Prior to this assignment, Eyres was customer development director with Unilever, South Africa Foods. In addition, he has worked with a number of retailers to build their food portfolio through effective shopper marketing campaigns. He is currently on with Hindustan Unilever Limited as vice president for Modern Trade.

M.S.Rao, President, Heritage Foods (India) Ltd
Dr. M.S.Rao has been in charge of the Dairy & Food Retail business of Heritage Foods since 2006. Heritage’s integrated agri-operations are the backbone of its retail operations which include 55 retail stores spread across Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad, and milk products that have strong market presence in entire South India and Maharashtra. Dr. M.S. Rao is a Post Graduate and Doctorate in Zoology. He has served the state and central governments for about two decades as a member of the IAS. Prior to his current assignment, he was Joint Secretary with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

MARTIN DLOUHY, MD, Metro India
Martin Dlouhy started his career with McDonalds and went on to become MD, McDonalds of Czech Republic & Slovakia. He joined METRO, Cash & Carry, Russia as expansion director and later became MD, Metro of Czech Republic & Slovakia & currently he is MD of METRO Cash & Carry, India. Martin is a Masters in International Business from Prague School of Economics. He has done his Advanced Management Studies from London Business School.

MUNISH MANOCHA, Consultant Chef – Breakthrough Innovations, Premier Foods
Munish Manocha studied in Switzerland in quantity food production, sanitation and microbiology and hotel management. He then moved on to work in the food industry in Switzerland. In 2002 he moved to the UK and did recipe development for some of the big names in the UK retail industry. In 2005 Manocha joined RHM as an innovations product designer on Indian food. Since the Premier takeover of RHM, he has moved into the role of consultant chef for breakthrough innovations.

MONISH GUJRAL,Managing Director of the Moti Mahal Tandoori Trail chain of restaurants
Monish Gujral graduated from Delhi University majoring in Business Studies & completed a degree in Hotel Management before joining Moti Mahal restaurant started by his grandfather, Kundan Lal Gujral, the person who introduced Tandoori cuisine to the World. Monish is also a columnist with India’s number one news paper – The Hindustan Times and also writes a food column in The Hindu . He is also actively involved in training students in Institute of Hotel Management. Monish has also authored a book “Moti Mahal’s Taandoori Trail”.

Markus Ehrich, International Sales Director
Born and raised in Mexico, UK, Spain and Germany, Markus Ehrich studied business administration in Germany and Spain and worked in the International sales area for Philips, Rittal and Baero for the last 13 years. He has successfully expanded the business to Australia, South Africa, Turkey and Hong Kong/China and is currently further developing the business in Middle East and Asia as an International Sales Director. His main focus is on identifying qualified distributors in the region. The purpose of his first trip to India is to explore the potential for retail lighting with a focus on fresh food applications.
