F.A.C.S. specialises in the implementation of HACCP food safety programmes from farm through to processing with clients in Europe, Asia and South America. Jon is a consultant for the UK’s largest supermarket, Tesco, on matters relating to animal feed production. He has an office in Thailand providing a food certification service for S East Asia (BRC, IFS, GlobalGap) and recently launched a bespoke second party audit service based in Beijing for companies importing food and feed ingredients from China.

Jayant Kochar is one of the pioneers of organised retailing in India, having successfully launched the French lifestyle brand Lacoste in India over 15 years ago. He went on to conceptualise and create the iconic chain of Espresso Bars - BARISTA, following that with a Juice Bars concept. He now heads GO FISH, the country’s leading specialised retail consultancy. Jayant is a prolific presenter and public speaker and is popularly invited to compere retail industry events.

Jay Singh, 41, began his career in New York as an investment banker in 1990. Back in India in 1996, and given his passion for the food and beverage industry, Jay teamed-up with his father-in-law and acquired the North India rights for the Pizza Hut and KFC brands (1997), thus becoming the first franchisee in India. Thereafter, Jay went on to open 180 Proof in Bangalore, followed by three additional fast food restaurants also in Bangalore .In 2003 he opened the F Bar & Lounge in New Delhi. He then teamed-up with Mr. Sanjay Mahtani and co-founded JSM Corporation that operates 10 outlets under the brand names Hard Rock Café, Shiro, IndoChine and PitStop.

JH Mehta, President, Spencer’s Retail
JH Mehta is a managing graduate from IIM, Ahmedabad. He joined Hindustan Lever as management trainee in 1974, and has worked in a wide variety of functional and business assignments there. In 2000, he became a member of the management committee, HLL. Since July 2006, he has taken over as president, Spencer’s Retail, RPG Group.
